Your site in 9 languages
i18n-9-languagesLocale URLs, hreflang with x-default, a language switcher for Next.js, agent-written translations from a work list, and QA scripts that catch broken placeholders, plurals and mixed Chinese scripts.
Full description
Ships a Next.js App Router site in 9 languages (English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese) without an i18n library or translation API. Every page lives under a locale path, "/" redirects by saved choice then Accept-Language, each page has a self canonical and a complete hreflang set with x-default, the sitemap lists the alternates, and a crawlable language switcher saves the choice. The agent translates, guided by a work list, and QA scripts catch what usually goes wrong, such as missing keys, changed {placeholders} or tags, broken plurals, renamed brand words, untranslated text and Simplified characters in Traditional Chinese. An audit crawls the running site and checks hreflang, canonicals, return links and the root redirect. Use when the user wants their site, landing page or app UI in several languages, asks about hreflang, localized SEO, locale routing, a language switcher, or checking translations.
A sample landing page, Caption Writer, in 9 languages: the QA finds seven mistakes seeded into the translations, the agent fixes them through the work list, a Japanese browser lands on /ja and switches languages, and the audit passes on the running site. · Recorded 2026-11-03
- 1i18n_check finds 5 errors and 3 warnings: a missing French key, a renamed German placeholder, Simplified characters in Traditional Chinese, lost tags, a renamed brand and a missing plural form
- 2i18n_todo lists 7 items with the reasons; the agent writes the translations, i18n_merge puts them back, and the check passes for all 9 languages
- 3A Japanese browser opening "/" lands on /ja; switching to German, Traditional Chinese and Portuguese changes the URL and <html lang>, the page head lists all 9 languages plus x-default, and "/" now follows the saved choice (sped up 1.25x)
- 4hreflang_audit crawls all 18 pages from the sitemap and checks where "/" sends seven Accept-Language values: OK

What it does
Locale URLs, hreflang with x-default, a language switcher for Next.js, agent-written translations from a work list, and QA scripts that catch broken placeholders, plurals and mixed Chinese scripts.
- English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German and Brazilian Portuguese, each under its own URL (/ja/pricing) that answers 200 for everyone
- "/" redirects by the saved choice, then Accept-Language, then English: zh-HK goes to Traditional Chinese, pt-PT to Portuguese; localized pages never redirect
- Every page gets a self canonical and the full hreflang set with x-default, the sitemap carries the same alternates, and the switcher is plain links that save the choice
- i18n_check flags missing keys, changed {placeholders} or tags, missing plural forms, renamed brand words, untranslated text and Simplified characters in Traditional Chinese
- i18n_todo writes the work list for your agent, i18n_merge puts the translations back in order and re-checks them, i18n_extract finds hard-coded JSX text
- hreflang_audit crawls the running site from its sitemap and checks status, lang, canonicals, return links, x-default and where "/" sends each language; 8 offline test groups and 8 template tests
Use the i18n-9-languages skill to put my Next.js site in 9 languages: add locale routing and hreflang, move the UI text into messages, translate it, and run the QA and hreflang audit until both pass.Full instructions are included with purchase
