Privacy policy

This site is operated by GetPaid Skills (contact: support@getpaidskills.com). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account: your email address; if you use GitHub or Google, the name and avatar they share. Login codes expire after 5 minutes.
• Purchases: order, subscription and customer IDs, product, amount and status, sent to us by Creem. We never see your card details.
• Checkout consent: the time and text of the immediate-delivery consent you tick at checkout.
• Downloads: which skill and version, when, and a salted hash of your IP address (not the IP itself). For paid downloads, your email is written into the ZIP as a license watermark.
• Cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a language cookie. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who processes it

Creem (payments, invoices, customer portal), our email provider (login codes and receipts), our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), and GitHub / Google if you log in with them.

Why

To run your account, deliver what you bought, prevent abuse (license watermark, refund fair use), meet tax and accounting duties (through Creem), and answer support requests.

Retention and your rights

Account data is kept while your account exists. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires. You can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your data at support@getpaidskills.com.
